Shorters’ Date Night

Let me tell you about the Shorters’! This beautiful couple gently nudged me into the event planning industry. Back when I worked in the mall office as a marketing assistant, I used to throw kids events and would always invite the Shorters’ as they had one toddler at the time. (What’s more fun than working and hanging out with your friends at the same time?!) When Mr. Shorter turned 30, Mrs. Shorter asked me to help plan the party in which I replied I’m not a party planner but sure sounds fun. She reiterated, “If you can plan parties for kids, you can plan parties for adults!”

Challenge accepted and fast forward to four years later and I’ve planned multiple parties and baby showers for this family. Major thank you for being my first legacy client and coming back to me time and time again for your special occasions. I’m forever indebted to you for helping me realize my passion!

To celebrate their 5th year wedding anniversary, Mr. Shorter planned a surprise date night on the beach for his wife! He gave us complete creative direction and we chose the mustard yellow and black as we felt those romantic colors to help set the vibes for the day.
